Deep Dark Chocolate Cake

  • 1 3/4 cup unsifted all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 3/4 cup Hershey's Cocoa
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup boiling water

 

1. Combine dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl.

2. Add eggs, milk, oil and vanilla. Beat 2 minutes at medium speed. Stir in boiling water (batter will be thin).

3. Pour into greased and floured 13" by 9" by 2" pan.

4. Bake at 350 degrees F. for 35 to 40 minutes.
