Imperial Chicken Bake

  • 1/2 cup dry breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons minced fresh parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 6 chicken breast halves, skinned and boned
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
  • 1 small clove garlic, crushed
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Paprika

 

1. Combine first 5 ingredients. Dip each breast in milk, and dredge in breadcrumb mixture. Arrange in a lightly greased 13- x 9- x 2-inch baking dish.

2. Combine butter, garlic, and lemon juice; drizzle over chicken. Sprinkle with paprika. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes or until tender.
