Waffles (version 3)

  • 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup whipping cream
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt (optional) (I don't use salt)
  • 3 tablespoons oil

 

1. Whip the eggs until somewhat frothy, then add all remaining ingredients and mix until almost smooth. It might be slightly lumpy.

2. Add enough batter to cover about 80% of a very HOT and greased waffle iron and cook until it stops steaming (~4 minutes). Repeat until all batter is used.
